• Encourage your community to sponsor a Community Cleanup Day.
  
• Participate in PennDOT's "Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Day" on the fourth Saturday in April.
  
• Join PA CleanWays or organize a local chapter if one isn't in your county.
  
• Call 1-888-LITTERBUG to learn about other ways you can fight litter in Pennsylvania.
  
• If you're a hunter, participate in SPORT (Sportsmen Policing Our Ranks Together), a Game Commission program that encourages hunters to report violations.

• Adopt a local road or area through PA CleanWays (if a chapter exists), or a state road through PennDOT's Adopt-A-Highway program.
  
• Call 1-877-7PA-FOREST (1-877-772-3673) or e-mail to learn more about ways you can participate in DCNR's Forest Land Beautification Program.
  
• Find out if other beautification or adoption programs exist in your area. Call your County Conservation District or Courthouse.
