the Council promotes sustainable use of our land and natural resources,
protection of watersheds, and innovative solutions to long-standing problems.
The Council's philosophy is to involve all parties in an issue, listen
to their ideas and build consensus for environmental improvement.
The council leads and manages a variety of partnerships including the
Pennsylvania Greenways Commission, the GreenSpace Alliance, and the French
Creek Project. PEC is working with local officials in the formation of
Local Advisory Teams to seek long-term solutions for illegal dumping
