Requirements for Youth Volunteers

Youth 12 and over are welcome at most illegal dump site cleanups. Because safety is of utmost concern, the following policy is in place:

1) All volunteers working to clean up an illegal dump shall be 12 years of age or over.

2) There must be an adult (21 years of age or older) responsible for the supervision of not more than six youths (age 12 through 17).

3) All youths must bring a signed Parental Consent Form (available below) to the cleanup.

4) Requests for exceptions must be cleared through the PA CleanWays - State office.

5) Individual sites may require more stringent age restrictions.

View and Print a Parental Consent Form as an Adobe Acrobat .pdf File. (Download Adobe Acrobat Reader) Get Free Adobe Acrobat REader
